Your post is beautiful and a gentle reminder to us all. Life is not a rehearsal, is it? Yellow always surprises me. When I was expecting my eldest I became obssessed with the colour; it's her favourite colour now and my sons's too. I cannot get enough of it although in theory I am much more of a pink and green girl. My post this week is on the colour apricot. I may very well play along with you. It's a good game.

I hope you and your family are doing well.

Stephaniemillefeuilleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14608950213999238191noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5402402600046694659.post-88184033888840113612012-06-17T17:52:59.901+01:002012-06-17T17:52:59.901+01:00All those wonderful yellowy colours - I've onl...All those wonderful yellowy colours - I've only really started appreciating it these past couple of years.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend,

Nina xxx...Nina Nixon...https://www.blogger.com/profile/09778168901706224335noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5402402600046694659.post-40483660671428637952012-06-17T12:11:53.850+01:002012-06-17T12:11:53.850+01:00I think if you can hold onto that ability all chil...I think if you can hold onto that ability all children have to look at the world and really see it into adulthood then you are at least half way to happy. My kids used to love me stopping to show them every little detail but now I fear I'm becoming an embarrassment! But I practice mindfulness and it can be a great comfort :DAnnie Cholewahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17608057589525908147noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5402402600046694659.post-2190231162265711462012-06-17T11:00:15.521+01:002012-06-17T11:00:15.521+01:00What a lovely post Penelope, I love yellow and all...What a lovely post Penelope, I love yellow and all your yellow things are so pretty!
Victoria xxTangled Sweetpeahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01954038173137036350noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5402402600046694659.post-74626945868020391302012-06-17T08:51:05.731+01:002012-06-17T08:51:05.731+01:00Hi Pennylope, lovely post, and great photos. It's where that expression 'stop and smell the (coffee) ' comes from, isn't it? I wonder what would happen if the World took a day out to practice noticing-mindfulness? There wouldn't be the time or inclination for the bad stuff, would there?

Oops, hark at me getting all philosophical. Have a lovely w/end and hope progress on the health front continues. Your photos are beautiful, I love the bee in the flower especially. The mail yellow in my garden is a welsh poppy. I collected some seed from my mothers garden a few years ago and scattered them about and now every year they surprise me with where thy decide to appear next! I particularly like to see them in the gravel.
I hope you enjoy the rest of the weekend, xxxPennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08292050209658686142noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5402402600046694659.post-90388787758921492902012-06-17T04:11:08.128+01:002012-06-17T04:11:08.128+01:00What a fun post.
