Of course sometimes your five year old could have done that, just not for the same reasons (or perhaps as well), begging the question are the five year old's reasons any less valid for being less well informed ... ooh do I love mind benders like that ;)Annie Cholewahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17608057589525908147noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5402402600046694659.post-2176210572784486552012-11-04T17:37:41.031+00:002012-11-04T17:37:41.031+00:00Hello Penelope!

Your bird is adorable and, for some strange reason, I have a lovely vision of a repeat pattern of lino cut apples in reds, blacks, and greens.

Penny, I've just read your previous post (we've been away in England for my father's 90th celebration) and, whilst we all have unique stories to tell, I simply wanted to tell you I empathise with your husband's unfair dismissal enormously having been through a similar situation. I wish you both a bright outcome from the court case this week. I'll be thinking of you!

Stephaniemillefeuilleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14608950213999238191noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5402402600046694659.post-73793226811399538482012-11-04T16:08:47.077+00:002012-11-04T16:08:47.077+00:00Got your email.....all good! I get a real visceral pleasure from looking at lino cuts and I feel a diversion coming on - whenI can least afford to be diverted form textiles! I enjoy rubber stamp carving so have all the tools...must get some lino to have a proper go. Oh dear, did I need this right now??????Lynnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15385150635938870512noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5402402600046694659.post-4626879463512582012-11-04T13:26:51.456+00:002012-11-04T13:26:51.456+00:00Loving your Lino work Penelope!

I love the effect of linocut and think you are amazing for taking it up - I have no real artistic ability so wouldn't attempt it. Your linocuts are so lovely.

I also go through intense reading phases and then.....nothing for ages. I have recently started reading again after a very 'dry' year - which began with a heavy reading stage, so maybe I am about to end the year as it began! :)

Wendyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14257653410136495378noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5402402600046694659.post-3104648408890824442012-11-04T08:44:12.235+00:002012-11-04T08:44:12.235+00:00Hi Penelope,

I would be really interested in knowing more about the workshop when you've been on it, could you let me know?
