Somebody is about to hop into town
Somebody grey with brown eyes
Somebody who hopped right out of this book onto my knitting needles this past weekend
I'm only a stuffed leg and arm and a pom pom tail away before he/she (no gender yet!) appears on this 'ere blog
xox
ps. Alice has a bunny from when she was a toddler and she named it Hoppity. I am hoping she will come up with a name for this one otherwise it might just have to be Hoppity II :o)
Oooooh, I'm a bit partial to a knitted bunny!
ReplyDeleteLovely

Hello Penelope! Looking forward to seeing Hoppity II!
ReplyDeleteI loved your last post (which I have just read) with all the diamond Jubilee goodness in it, despite having a three day weekend for Queen's Birthday, there were not really celebrations in the town where I live so lovely to see what ishappening on the other side of the world! I loved the vintage-filled dome of HRH goodness too :O)
Have a happy week XXX
That looks like a nice book, I've been perusing the knitting books in our local library this afternoon, and there were plenty to choose from, but I came home with a kids quilts one, goodness knows why!
ReplyDeleteYour bunny looks lovely, looking forward to seeing him/her how about floppity?
Soft toys always get crazy names in our house - the most recent is a bear in a kilt named Douglas McHaggis Arthur!
ReplyDeleteHe/she is going to be adorable.
ReplyDeleteLoved your Jubilee post (including the doggie doo-doo (!), not to mention Alice the style bunny's outfit :)
Penelope, as you know I have a certain fondness for soft toys, in particular rabbits. You can imagine, therefore, how eager I am to meet 'Perhaps Hoppity II'!
ReplyDeleteDo hurry and make him please. I will be waiting in the wings.
Warmest wishes from soggy, windy (again) France.
