It's about time I did a giveaway on my blog, I've been meaning to for a while and bought these 2 small balls of Eric Knight yarn in November last year as I love the colours and and the fact that they are pure British Bluefaced Leicester wool makes them extra special. The book is a stunning homage to stylish ideas and handmade projects by Sarah Moore and I just felt like spoiling you lovelies who come and visit and say hi.
If you'd like to enter please become a follower of my blog and leave a comment and your email if you don't have a blog. I will use the random number selector to see who the winner is on Saturday the 1st February. Good luck :o)
Hello Penny what a lovely gesture - would absolutely love to win this fabulous prize so keeping everything crossed. Hope you are well and happy. Sending you many hugs and cuddles

Hi P, as a fellow crocheter I've been reading your blog for a while. I love your taste in projects and colours. It's lovely to keep up with news on the place I was born too. Oh how I miss the sea! The yarn colours remind me of stormy days by the coast. I'd love to enter your giveaway (must hold one myself too!). Take care J x
ReplyDeleteHi Penny, you already know that I am a follower and commenter! This book looks lovely, I love vintage things, but hubby is not so keen, so books are a good way to indulge aren't they! Very kind of you to offer your readers a giveaway to cheer up these grey January days. Hope that you are having a good weekend. xx

ReplyDeleteHi Penny, Can I join in please. Already a follower and regular reader. Hope you and yours are well and not getting too wet and flooded. I am just up the road from you, well Ashford and it is wet wet wet here. xxx
ReplyDeleteDear Penelope,
ReplyDeleteWould you mind terribly if I entered your giveaway? I did win a super wonderful one about eighteen months ago and I don't wish to come across as too greedy! Infact I was about to brace myself to say 'I won't enter this giveaway ....' until I saw how special your beautiful gifts were.
Happy sigh.
I hope you and your family are well and happy and getting a little sunshine on a regular basis.
Warmest wishes,
Stephanie
Hi Penny, please enter me into your giveaway, I'm already following :-)
ReplyDeletePenny What a lovely giveaway...I am a newer follower to your blog I do so enjoy your variety. I am anxious to read the book you spoke about Recently.

Good monrning Penny
ReplyDeleteI don't like the grwon-up stuff, too. I'd rather crochet but .... I ordered wool from Bluefaced Leicester sheep last week (for spinning). That's the first time I heard about those sheep. :-) You giveaway is lovely and would love to be a part of it. If you mind the shipping, it's okay for me. Have a nice day! Regula
I would love to enter your give away - beautiful wool & that book looks great. Have just read your review for 'The Little Stranger' Haven't read any Donna Tartt, although sh has been on my must read list for more than a decade - I saw her read from 'Stranger' at Hay festival all those years ago. Think she was up for the Booker or Orange Prize. I notice that lots of people are reading 'The Goldfinch' this month. Like you I have already started my February book but I have a feeling that March will be Donna Tartt month! Karen x
ReplyDeleteYour give-away looks lovely. The yarn looks soft and squishy and the book very interesting. Thanks for sharing with your readers. Carla
