Bunny Boo

Meet Bunny Boo, she has worked her way into our hearts and has found herself in a prize position on Alice's bed. Yay for crochet, yay for inspiration to make her from here and for Victoria's crochet bunny ear pattern found here (I made Bunny Boo's ears a little bigger by doing another two rounds of htr around each ear). Oh, and big yay for our 12 and a half year old still loving cuddly bunnies.

I hope to make a smaller version of her for my niece Connie's first birthday next week. Hope you've had something(one) to cuddle recently.

See you all soon

  1. I am debating with myself the merits of the term "adorbs" since, after all, I am 44 years old and not a teenager, so who am I to co-opt the trendy sayings of the youthful, but that lil stripey bunny is just completely adorbs. He's adorbs. Love. :)

  6. Wonderful make Penny. They're still very little inside at 12 despite all the occassional swagger. I knitted up two of the wee chicks from 20 min knits late at night after Millie's party on Easter Saturday (think I'd lost the plot at this stage). They loved them, Mike wants one of his own and he's 45 so I doubt we ever grow out of cute handmade toys to be honest.
Spring is getting nearer - the sun lit up the sky today which was a miracle in itself.

  12. She's perfect. And I know at least one 50 year old who still loves cuddly bunnies. :) That ear lining fabric is just adorable, and her face is just right. Nice work Penny!
